Urgent Middle East Appeal
Children have been killed, maimed and separated from their families as a result of the conflict in the Middle East. The situation is rapidly deteriorating. And children continue to pay the highest price for the violence which will result in trauma for generations to come.
We are on the ground in Lebanon and are responding already. Our member Naba’a, an independent, non-political local charity, has been supporting internally displaced families for many years and has set up displacement camps looking after thousands of women and children who are moving away from border areas affected by the current conflict. 50% of those being supported are children.
This number is increasing every day…we desperately need food supplies, baby food, nappies, sleeping materials and hygiene products to help these families. The situation is urgent.
- £25 could help fund food supplies to vulnerable children and their families
- £50 could help provide nappies, baby food and urgent childcare materials for families in desperate need
- £75 could help local practitioners to protect children from violence and exploitation along migration routes
- £100 could help traumatised children affected by the conflict to provide psycho-social care
