Big ideas make a big difference. That’s why we’ve launched ‘Changemakers for Children’ – an online community to help big ideas spread further.
Every child should have the chance to grow up in a safe and caring environment. Unfortunately, millions don’t.
This is a global issue, and it’s too big and complex for any one person to tackle alone.
We believe that those working on the frontline around the world have valuable first-hand knowledge of what works. By enabling them to share their wisdom and learning with each other, we can collectively make change happen faster and more effectively for children everywhere.
How it works
That’s why we’ve launched Changemakers for Children – a place for frontline professionals to learn from each other, discuss and solve problems collaboratively, access helpful resources and build new connections in the sector. Importantly, Changemakers for Children creates a space to make sure local civil society organisations’ (CSOs) voices are heard. It values and documents local knowledge, and facilitates joint advocacy initiatives. We want to shift the power balance and make sure local CSOs are in the driving seat.
It’s packed with resources on topics including caring for children during the COVID-19 pandemic, supporting children affected by sexual violence, caring for children on the move, and much more.
