Digital storytelling for transformation (DST) is a creative process through which individuals use their own images and words to create short films which depict or describe an element of their lives. The technique allows for feelings and insights to be shared through a first-person narrative and for a personal story to be told.
Between 2014-2018, Family for Every Child implemented two phases of a digital storytelling project to
explore the meaning of family. Today, we are pleased to release an evaluation of the impact of digital storytelling on the lives of children.
This report also evaluates the outcomes of the project for the work of members, as well as other associated stakeholders, and identifies improvements that could be made in the implementation of the method were it to be used again in the future.
