Overview

This research was conducted to gain new insights on the situation of unaccompanied children in Germany. The study’s research focus is on the integration of children on the move. It aims to gain insights into the obstacles preventing and the successes of the integration of unaccompanied children. Focusing on the socio-cultural aspects of integration, the research wants to give space to the needs and perspectives of young refugees. The findings aim to inform policy as well as to support the development of practical guidance to change the situation of young refugees for the better.
