About this topic

The restrictions imposed by governments around the world during the COVID-19 pandemic created severe challenges for vulnerable families. The impact on the mental health of children and young people was significant, with the exacerbation of anxiety disorders and depression across populations.

In these practitioner guidance papers we share the approaches of three Family for Every Child members to supporting mental health needs during the pandemic, within their different contexts. Our members share the challenges they faced in implementing these programmes as well as top tips for other practitioners working in this area.
