Consultancy: Documenting Therapeutic Approaches of the Therapeutic Approaches Working Group members

Home based in any country

One of the key ways that our members engage with the Alliance is through Working Groups which aim to facilitate discussions and activities on priority topics of interest. Therapeutic Approaches is one such working group with thirteen members from thirteen countries.

As part of their working strategy, the members have decided to first document the therapeutic approaches that they use in their work with children, with a view to having a deeper understanding of the approaches, the theories behind them, and their best use. The consultant will facilitate members to document their therapeutic approaches and will draw out common emerging themes in order to synthesise the learning that others can consider using in their own contexts. The consultant’s task will involve reviewing some literature, online discussions with members and compiling the information that will be used by practitioners and academics.
